Yanelis is a certified Food Safety Manager by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (Certificate No: 21796296)
Dulces Confecciones, translated directly to Sweet Confections, has its sweet beginnings in winter 2019 when it was founded by proud owner and baker Yanelis Otero in her hometown of Manati, Puerto Rico. She is a 28 year old that is passionate about entrepreneurship and all things creative.
Yanelis has gained 3+ years of experience baking and decorating sugar cookies with royal icing. Similarly, through hard work and dedication, she has worked on developing the recipes she offers in her menu. Dulces Confecciones is currently run out of her home kitchen in Manati, Puerto Rico.
Yanelis holds a bachelors degree in Linguistics from Stony Brook University in New York. But, when it comes to decorated cookies and baking, she's 100% self-taught!
